Mobile App

KangKeliling

KangKeliling is a real-time mobile app created to help pedagang keliling (mobile street vendors) become digitally discoverable by nearby users. Many vendors lack digital tools to share their locations, while residents often miss opportunities to buy from them. This app connects both parties through geolocation and real-time updates. Developed in 36 hours by me and my friend during GarudaHacks 5.0, the project emphasizes digital inclusion and urban micro-economy empowerment.

🚩Challenge

Informal street vendors (Pedagang Kaki Lima) in Indonesia often struggle to find consistent customer foot traffic, while customers have difficulty tracking their favorite moving vendors. The challenge was to create a low-friction platform to bridge this gap without requiring complex onboarding for the vendors.

💡Solution

Developed a real-time tracking application using Expo and React Native, powered by a Supabase backend. It allows vendors to broadcast their live location and current menu, while users receive notifications when a vendor enters their designated radius.
